The history of real estate in Nigeria dates back to prehistoric times , However, the structured system that we have today and can now refer to as an industry was not always so. This change was brought about by innovative, envelope-pushing individuals such as Ruth Obih, CEO of 3INVEST.
Now with a structured system, the battle is far from over. This is because as technology, economy, and society advances, so does the need for reformation and sustainable growth in the real estate industry. Thanks to innovative establishments like 3INVEST, that was constantly developing strategies to fill these gaps in the industry.
Before the year 2012, 3invest saw that there was no real estate forum that sought to unite key players in the real estate sector (locally and internationally) for the purpose of sustainable growth in Nigeria. All that changed with the birth of Real Estate Unite on the 13th and 14th of September 2012.
Real Estate UNITE (REU) is an annual summit with the primary objective to unite players in the real estate sector whilst opening up the immeasurable potential in sub-Saharan Africa’s real estate sector for sustainable growth.
Since the maiden edition in 2012, the REU event has blossomed, beating its records every year as can be seen below:
