Speechless! Ms Taiwo’s presence was first significantly noticed at the AWIRE Meeting where she had asked questions on obtaining bank loans for her business. She expressed her difficulty in raising capital for her new business, and thoughts that bank’s seemed more hostile to women with regards giving out loans. In answering her question, several women leaders including Mrs Sadia Aminu of Urban Shelter advised that she (and indeed every other women present) must start building their portfolios early as that will help the banks arrive at a more favorable decision.
After the closing remark at the end of the meeting, Ms Ruth Obih, CEO 3INVEST urged all who had not registered for the win-a-land promo to do so at the LPG booth.
A few hours later, it was time for the raffle draw. The draw was conducted in plain sight at the LPG booth after everyone in the hall had gathered. “And the winner of our land promo is… Anjorin Taiwo. An overjoyed Ms Taiwo leaped to the front of the crowd to claim her prize. It was at this point that all those present at the AWIRE meeting realized the testimony that just occurred.
